00:00The Civil Service Commission or CSC clarified that the government officials do not need to wear the full regalia of the ASEAN-inspired attire.
00:09In a statement by Radio Pilipinas, CSC Commissioner Aileen Lizada said that employees are allowed to wear or only wear ASEAN accessories as part of the ASEAN month.
00:20Commissioner Lizada also explained that there are exemptions in the Circular Memorandum they issued.
00:26This includes medical personnel, traffic enforcers, those with health conditions, and government officials who are in field work.
00:34CSC also gave the authority to make regulations for government agencies to revise their dress code.
00:43This is a step by CSC as a part of the Pilipinas in celebrating ASEAN Month and to make ASEAN's important role in the region.
