00:00The People's Indigenous Day was happily celebrated by the LGU Coronadol City.

00:05It is part of the celebration of the IP communities.

00:08This is Sofia Ternos of PIA Subsargen for Balitang Pambansa.

00:15The Coronadol City in South Cotabato introduced the Indigenous People's Community

00:21to the celebration of the 25th Hinugyao Festival

00:24through the celebration of the 9th IP Day as part of the Hinugyao Festival.

00:30The Indigenous People's Community is important in Coronadol City

00:34because we are part of the history of the city.

00:38Since time immemorial, the Indigenous Peoples have been here in Coronadol City.

00:45That is why we are part of the history of the city.

00:52From being a small community to becoming a municipality,

01:01now we are a first-class city.

01:08According to the official, 10% of the population of Coronadol City

01:12is formed by IP communities such as Blaan, Tiboli, Tagakaulo, Teduray, and Manobo.

01:18The official also made the distribution of the projects for the Indigenous Communities.

01:25The celebration also includes honoring the first IP doctor from Coronadol.

01:32The first celebration of the IP Day is proof of the continued importance of the LGU-Coronadol

01:38in the contribution of IP communities to the culture, tradition, and history of the city.
