00:11this Cowboy job? I can't even believe that Brian Schottenheimer is Jerry Jones' choice.

00:16Yeah, okay. Let's start with Schottie, okay? Brian Schottenheimer, who was their offensive

00:21coordinator this season under Mike McCarthy, he's very analytically driven, I'm told by people who

00:25work with him. He runs a West Coast offense. He's a really good coach, but being a head coach

00:33in this situation, he's got a second interview, Scott. And now Kellen Moore, as one source told

00:38me, if Kellen Moore could get to Monday without Schottenheimer being hired, he's got a better

00:43chance of Schottenheimer getting the job. But Jerry's kind of running this thing on his own

00:48with some advisors. Schottenheimer's a guy who's very well-liked in their building. I know the

00:52fans are up in arms over this. It's legit. It's not fake. It's actually legitimate. It doesn't

00:57mean he's getting the job, but he's a legitimate candidate is my point. But Kellen Moore was very

01:01well-liked in that building. Remember now, Mike McCarthy wanted to run his own offense, so he ran

01:06Kellen Moore out of there. Now he's with the Eagles, of course, and coaching the NFC Championship

01:10game. But it's legitimate, the son of, obviously, the late Marty Schottenheimer. So I know people

01:15aren't up in arms. I see it in social media, but it's legit. It's legit. Jerry likes Schottenheimer.

01:20We'll see what happens. Is he going to hire Rex Ryan? All right. So here's the story here. So as

01:27I told you when you asked about Rex Ryan being a legit candidate for the Jet Set Coaching job,

01:31I said absolutely no, Chair, because I think it was more of a favor, to be honest with you.

01:36Here, it's a little different. Remember, Schottie worked for Rex many, many years ago. I think it's

01:42something to keep an eye on. I'm not saying he's getting the job. To be clear, I'm not dismissing

01:47this one because of their relationship, and they know each other very, very well. But to come out

01:52of coaching for so many years, it's very, very hard to do. And now I could tell you Rex Ryan

01:59runs a different defense than the one that Mike Zimmer was running, completely different. It would

02:03look very, very different. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We'll talk more about this, obviously,

02:08next week if Schottie gets the job. But this is interesting because this went from Dion

02:13to other candidates to Kelly Moore. Everyone's saying he's a lot to get the job. He was never

02:18a lot to get the job. He was the early favorite. As I always tell people, you got to be careful

02:23with saying someone's a favorite. It could change in an instant.
