00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development is encouraging all 4P beneficiaries to register

00:07in the Philippine Identification System their children below the age of 5 years.

00:13According to the 4P, the registration and authentication of a 0-5 year old child in the Philippines

00:20is equivalent to 2 months of the Family Development Session or FDS.

00:25This is also a way for the members of the family to have access to all the benefits

00:32that the PHILSIS can provide.

00:34Meanwhile, the joining of the children in the PHILSIS registration is the directive of

00:39DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchayan to expand the National ID System to all 4P beneficiaries

00:47as part of the streamlining in the service of the government.
