00:00The Philippine Coast Guard continues to target the monster ship of the China Coast Guard

00:06that is still roaming in the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines.

00:12Meanwhile, the Philippine Navy ships conducted a unilateral exercise

00:18in the vicinity of Bajo de Masinluc,

00:20which is still a part of the exercises to protect our seas.

00:25Here is the report.

00:30You do not possess any legal authority to patrol inside the Philippines' exclusive economic zone.

00:38You are directed to depart immediately and notify us of your intentions.

00:44Your illegal activity will be reported to higher authorities.

00:48The Philippine Coast Guard has been monitoring the monster ship of the China Coast Guard

00:54that is still illegally maintained in the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines.

01:00On January 4, the so-called ship of China was first detected

01:03which is still 54 nautical miles from Sambales.

01:07But due to the tight surveillance and patrol of the PCG,

01:12the distance of the monster ship of 60 to 70 nautical miles can only be maintained.

01:18Currently, it is being guarded by the PCG ship of BRP Gabriela Silang.

01:23The government of China previously called for the removal of the monster ship from the EEZ of the Philippines

01:31because it is still a violation of the Philippine Maritime Zones Act

01:35even though it was approved by UNCLOS and the 2016 Arbitral Award.

01:45In the vicinity of Bajo de Masinluc, the Philippine Navy conducted a unilateral exercise.

01:51The Navy ships of BRP Antonio Luna and Del Pilar-class patrol vessels

01:58BRP Ramon Alcaraz and BRP Andres Bonifacio were first here.

02:02Along with patrolling the West Philippine Sea,

02:05the exercise was conducted far away

02:08to further improve the Navy's preparedness and interoperability in accordance with their mandate

02:14to protect the Philippine maritime zone and territorial integrity.
