00:06individuals who died after attending the Pinkfish Countdown concert on December 31st had drugs

00:12in their blood.

00:14He said the police had received a toxicology analysis report from the chemistry department

00:18that confirmed the presence of drugs in their bodies.

00:22He said the police had been referred to the University Malaya Medical Centre to get the

00:26full report.

00:27He said the police are investigating who supplied the drugs to the victims.

00:31He said they had recorded the statements of 52 people, including those who survived from

00:36drug overdose and the concert personnel.

00:39The remaining victim is being treated at the medical centre, but the police are still unable

00:44to record his statement.

00:46Police said the four deceased, along with three others, fell unconscious after consuming

00:50drugs believed to be ecstasy during the concert.

00:54Last week, the police recorded a statement from the event organiser over the incident.

00:58The organiser said every precautionary measures had been taken to ensure the safety of its

01:03events, including the Pinkfish concert.

01:06The measures included the presence of more than 100 police officers, other security personnel,

01:12and the K-9 unit at the entrance points.
