Dog Who Just Got Adopted Holds Mom's Hand The Whole Way Home

00:00He held my hand for pretty much the whole ride home.

00:04The look on his face was so powerful.

00:08Loki realized that he wasn't getting left at the shelter anymore.

00:12You could just tell that he was relieved.

00:14I met Loki through working at a low-cost spay-neuter clinic, and he was very sick.

00:19So I volunteered to foster him.

00:22I didn't know Loki's history, but he is exceptionally sweet.

00:26So we introduced him to our son, Leo.

00:30It was like long-lost friends.

00:35If Leo's going outside, Loki's out there getting into stuff with him.

00:42We initially just wanted to foster him because we have a three-year-old son, we have two

00:46great Danes, so our house was pretty full.

00:49My husband didn't want him to stay here, even though me and my son had fallen in love with

01:03That's not your dog, that's my dog.

01:06Leo is very quick to correct me and tell me that that's his dog.

01:10I think that as Leo grows up, this will be the dog he talks about to people.
