What are your thoughts on the cost of driving lessons today? Have you passed your driving test?

00:00Just barely scraping by you know, like it's just I had to do most of my lessons with my

00:06parents because my parents were like, I'm lucky enough to have parents who have cars

00:10that I can drive and I can practice in and I think without that I don't think I'd have

00:14been able to do it.

00:15I can't afford it, it's simply too much, it's absolutely ridiculous, like when my brother

00:22he learned to drive it was like £25 an hour which I could kind of get but these days it's

00:28what like £60?

00:29It was a long time ago and it was a lot cheaper relative to when my daughter passed a test

00:35about six, seven years ago.

00:37I know a lot of my mates all had to get jobs just to pay for their driving lessons and

00:43then they had no money from their jobs at the end of it because they're spending it

00:47all on driving lessons, it's a bit ridiculous, I don't know.

00:50Young people trying to find a place to live, everything like that, there's just so many

00:54things that we have to battle these days that I just don't think anyone will be able

00:59to learn to drive.
