How do you feel about paying the TV licence — and what do you think should happen to it in future?

00:00I think they always had us over a barrel because we had to do it.

00:05It's a bit of a tricky one now because of, I know that, although I don't know the full details in and out of it,

00:10I do know that there's differences in streaming and broadcasting and a lot of people are choosing to not do that.

00:18I know a lot of people who don't have a telly and they just watch stuff on their computer and they're not watching live telly.

00:23If you're paying for three or four different streaming platforms,

00:28then the likelihood of you wanting to pay for another one that is actually quite expensive as well.

00:33Well, the TV licence, I think everybody's got to pay for it.

00:36But I think putting people in prisons, especially in Scotland, for not paying their TV licence is not right, really.

00:45Well, if TV licence is free for elderly people at OAP, aren't they?

00:50They don't need to pay.

00:54But the younger generation, they've all got phones, so I don't see anybody sitting outside.
