00:00Why did you start with this movie or you read the script and you liked it and you did it?

00:06What was the reason for choosing this movie?

00:09Ma'am, first I auditioned for another film.

00:12And then that other film became this film.

00:15Because they wanted a new actor for this character.

00:20About whom there is no baggage or who has done any other film.

00:25So that an audience gets a new perspective.

00:28So I think after the audition crack.

00:31When I came to know that this is Vayu Sena's movie.

00:33And it is a movie of a warrior.

00:36In the war of 1965, he went alone in front of the enemy.

00:42He saved his brothers and the members of the Vayu Sena.

00:48So I mean, I was very much influenced by it.

00:55And his life is a great journey in the army.

01:00So it is my good fortune that I got a chance to play a real character.

01:10I don't think safe guarantees anything today.

01:15I always thought in my life that if I get a chance, I would like to take a lot of risks.

01:21So I think this is the first film of Air Force.

01:25Which is based on a true incident.

01:28And I got a chance to have a moustache in the first film.

01:35And to play the role of a father.

01:37And it is a great thing.

01:39You cried a lot while doing that scene.

01:42So would you like to say something about that?

01:45I feel that a sacrifice for a country is not a big thing in the world.

01:58Leaving your family and friends and doing your life for the country.

02:03So I got a chance to play the role of a real hero.

02:10So whatever they did, all my emotions came out.

02:16And I hugged my directors and I cried.

02:19I couldn't control myself.

02:28Yes, absolutely.

02:29This is just the first page.

02:31And this is a very serious character.

02:34And this will be my wish.

02:38Like the Laksh film.

02:40Which inspired people to join the army for 20 years.

02:46Sky Force will also be a film like that.

03:37And as it is your first movie.

03:39What was the experience working on this movie?

03:43Working on my first film Sky Force was rather overwhelming.

03:47It is a huge opportunity and a responsibility for me to play a real life hero.

03:52Squadron leader A.B. Devaiah.

03:54Who was one of the heroes of the 1965 India-Pakistan war.

03:58Which we won against overwhelming odds.

04:01And when we had subsonic fighter jets as compared to the supersonic ones that Pakistan had.

04:06It is a story that needs to be told.

04:09For the future generations to get inspired by what our heroes of our country have done for our freedom.

04:14But not only that.

04:15I think it is a very personal story.

04:17It is a very human story.

04:18And it is about family.

04:20It's about brotherhood.

04:21It's about friendship.

04:22And the most important thing that we as human beings must be.

04:25It's about loyalty.

04:26So that's why I urge everyone to watch this film to learn something new.

04:30And how was it to work with Akshay Kumar, Nimrit Kaur and Sara Ali Khan?

04:33It was rather frightening at first.

04:36Because they are so experienced in this industry.

04:39But you know when I got the opportunity to face the camera with them.

04:44And do scenes with them.

04:45They were very comforting.

04:46They were very hungry artists.

04:48And they have a lot of passion.

04:51A lot of dedication.

04:52That's why they are where they are.

04:54So it is something that me as a newcomer.
