As census comes under the union list, entry number 69, and of the seventh schedule of

So the central government should not shirk its responsibility, rather they must make

it a point that they must take up the responsibility of caste-wise data census.

The other demand is to remove the 50% ceiling for the OBCs, which is also a relevant demand

from across the country, because that is thwarting the demographic aspirations of the people,

those who belong to the other backward classes.

Take for example in Odisha, we have a 54% whooping majority of the OBCs, whereas also

the SCST component is very much concentrated, there are 40 odd percent.

So around 90% people are there, those who belong to the weaker section.

You can't give only 6% of the reservation and tell that you have achieved social justice.

component, but only 2,000 crores was made for the OBC welfare.

So we demand the OBC ministry, we demand adequate fund provision for the welfare of the OBCs.
