00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Budget and Management to return the Php 400 million branding budget of the Tourism Department.
00:29That is the directive of the President, with the help of DOT and economic managers of the government.
00:35According to the President, the funding will help strengthen the image of the country in the international stage,
00:41especially now that Filipino artists and athletes are making history because of their hard work.
00:47The budget will also help to increase the skills of Filipino health workers during the pandemic.
00:52The Department of Tourism ordered the President to restore the funding of the branding budget.
00:57If there is not enough funding for campaign projects, it is possible to result in smaller engagements,
01:03fewer trade and consumer activation opportunities, and lack of global media placements.
01:09The Office of the President targeted the contingency fund.
01:13DOT ordered the President to give Php 760 billion in international visitor receipts to the country for the entire year 2024.

01:33This is an early preparation for the possible recovery of the new global pandemic.
01:38DOST said first that the DPWH's 2025 National Expenditure Program does not have funding for VIP.
01:45But the Chief Executive assured that the government is looking for a way to fund the project.
