00:00DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian clarified that the program will not dole out the first 1,000 days conditional cash grant

00:09that will be given under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.

00:13According to him, this is a mechanism for our countrymen to be given the necessary services when it comes to health and education.

00:24Gatchalian explained that the Php 350 per month of F1KD Health Grants will help 4-piece beneficiaries

00:36who are pregnant and breastfeeding moms to check up and ensure the health of their babies until they grow up.

00:44Why are they being given that? To defray the cost.

00:47Because many of these families are far from school.

00:51Their families are far from school and health centers.

00:55To help defray the cost so that they can avail health services and education services.

01:01And now, prenatal and postnatal services.

01:04The grants are too small for you to get pregnant or have a child.

01:09But rather, this is our help to them so that they can cover the expenses of commuting to the health center.
