00:00It is not that you all put a work as an association and put the onus on the government to reply.

00:06You all have to ensure that law and order cannot be taken in your own hands.

00:10We have technology, we have police who can be called upon for any such type of situation

00:14to handle a situation.

00:16And we also talk about tourism being with responsible tourists coming into Goa as we

00:20stage the story about quality over quantity.

00:24There have been our friends in the opposition who have been trying to highlight Goa in the

00:29wrong form maybe, possibly citing Amitabh Khan's visit, talking about tourism in their

00:33own way, maybe trying to find some brownie points.

00:37But we are here to work seriously and we would call upon all of them that as we take Amitabh

00:42Khan's inputs, we would call upon opposition also to work together as we want to work towards

00:47tourism being the main industry and not look at just criticising it for the sake of criticising.

00:52Sir, if any big project is upcoming?

00:56We have many projects coming in this particular year.

00:59So in tourism sector we already have the double engine Sarkar which has supported us.

01:04We are talking in terms of spirituality, we are talking about a place in Mayan which will

01:09be looked upon and recreated in terms of infrastructure under the challenge based destination.

01:17Under Swadesh Darshan we are doing a lot of infrastructure changes in a rural circuit

01:21in terms of Colva that is in South Goa and we are also talking about a rural, I mean

01:26the coastal circuit in Colva and the rural circuit in Porvarin going up to the Hindalands.

01:31We are talking about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's contribution to Goa which has never been spoken

01:36earlier having got a sanction of about close to 100 crores from the centre, redoing the

01:40whole Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj fort with a naval and digital museums coming up over

01:46there so that we are able to pass the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's contribution

01:50to the state.

01:51The recent exposition in old Goa under the Prasad scheme we were able to contribute with

01:56the centre's help.

01:57We have taken about roughly close to 17 crores plus additional funds from the funds from

02:02the state government which were there to support the exposition in Goa which just took place

02:08and I think there are many more projects under Swadesh Darshan, under Prasad, under the central

02:14schemes which will be coming into Goa which will allow Goa to be relooked at.

02:20We are also inviting new tourism services which will also take place which will allow

02:24the tourists to come and explore Goa much better and as we talk about adventure, wellness,

02:29culinary, as we are talking about reorienting and repositioning Goa, these verticals will

02:34definitely help the tourists to come and experience much more as we talk about Goa beyond beaches.
