00:11January 10th finally came and turned into a people's party on the streets of Caracas.

00:16Early in the morning, people started gathering downtown and minutes before 11 a.m.,

00:22Nicolás Maduro was sworn in as Venezuela's president for a new mandate.

00:26Before this great National Assembly, legislative power of the Republic,

00:33before visitors and delegates from 125 countries, before the people of Venezuela,

00:40I swear by Huaycaipuro and indigenous peoples, I swear by Pedro Camejo, El Negro Primero,

00:47and José Leonardo Chirinos, I swear by Bolívar, by Izucre, by Urdaneta, by Manuela Sáenz,

00:56I swear by the eternal memory of our beloved chief and commander, Hugo Chávez,

01:02and I swear by the historic, noble, and brave people of Venezuela,

01:07before this Constitution, that I will comply with all its mandates,

01:12that I will comply with all the obligations of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic,

01:18and that this new presidential term will be the term of peace, prosperity, equality,

01:24and a new democracy, I swear by history, I swear by my life,

01:31and so I will comply, and we will comply, I swear.

01:44Outside the National Assembly, the people followed the inauguration ceremony

01:48and the presidential speech. Workers, women, and the youth joined the celebrations

01:53for a new chapter of the revolutionary process.

02:15Newly inaugurated President Nicolás Maduro highlighted that this was an inauguration

02:20for and with the people, the people in return consider his election as their own victory.

02:50The unity between the President and the people culminated in taking the oath together

02:55in front of the presidential palace Miraflores in late afternoon.

03:11With President Maduro's third term, Venezuela's Bolivarian revolution enters a new stage,

03:17one that promises to strengthen the people's power and sovereignty.
