00:00So, the moment by-elections were announced, our leader was indeed very keen on participating

00:35It clearly indicates that DMK is all set to flout all the norms, all the rules, like how

00:41it has happened in the earlier by-election.

00:44Knowing that it is not going to be a fair field to play for the political parties, it

00:50is definitely a conscious decision by our leader not to contest.

00:54The result will tell DMK that whatever may be the number of votes they get, is an indication

01:01that 2026 assembly elections is not in their favour.

01:09Karnanidhi has boycotted many by-elections, so ask them to agree first that Karnanidhi

01:15is scared of facing by-elections when he was alive, then we will buy that statement from

01:19them.

01:20This is a manifestation of the BNS, the rule which already is there, extending the term

01:39from 10 years to 14 years, unstringent punishment for acid attack victims.

01:45Any measure towards the welfare of the women in the society against sexual exploitation

01:49is a welcome one and establishing seven trial courts for sexual harassment is a welcome
