There is an unnecessary expenditure of money by the government and political parties.

The Chief Minister and even the Prime Minister have to spend a lot of time in the elections.

Officials from one state go to another state to run elections, as observers.

Because of the National Code of Conduct, because of the Aachar Sanhita, all the work of development gets stalled.
