00:49I am very grateful to you for the support you have given to the temple and its tradition.
01:06It is with immense pleasure and a heart full of pride that I stand before you today in
01:16the vibrant city of Bhubaneswar, a city rich in culture and heritage.
01:21After the success of the last Prabhasi Bharatiya Diwas in Indore in 2023, I am delighted to
01:29be here with you all to celebrate the indomitable spirit of our Prabhasi Bharatiyas.
01:36As we gather in the first month of this new year, 2025, I also extend my greetings and
01:43best wishes for a prosperous and fulfilling year ahead.
01:48Ladies and Gentlemen, I take this opportunity to congratulate Her Excellency, Christine
01:56Mangaloo, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on being conferred with the Prabhasi
02:03Bharatiya Samman 2025.
02:07Her outstanding contribution in leading her nation with a special focus on women and the
02:13Indian Diaspora has set a high benchmark on the world stage.
02:18This is a reflection of the deep ties of friendship and cooperation between our two countries
02:24as much as it is a testament of the shared values that point us across borders.
02:33Ladies and Gentlemen, The Indian Diaspora represents the best of our country.
02:39You, the sons and daughters of Bharat, have carried with you not just the knowledge and
02:45skills acquired in this sacred land, but also the values and ethos that have been the foundation
02:52of our civilization for millennia.
02:56Whether in the fields of technology, medicine, arts or entrepreneurship, the Indian Diaspora
03:03has made a mark that the world acknowledges and respects.
03:09Today, we honor those amongst you who have distinguished themselves through exemplary
03:15achievements.
03:17It is my privilege to confer on them the Prabhasi Bharatiya Samman as India's token
03:24of recognition of their extraordinary contributions.
03:29My heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees.
03:35Your success stories are not just a matter of pride for India, but they also inspire
03:41millenniums across the world to strive for excellence.
03:47Ladies and Gentlemen, The Prabhasi Bharatiya Diwas has over the years become more than
03:53just an event.
03:55It is a platform where ideas converge, collaborations are forged, and the bonds between India and
04:04its diaspora are strengthened.
04:07I am sure that over the last three days, you have used this occasion to engage in meaningful
04:14dialogue and share your experiences.
04:18This event underscores the fact that while you may be physically distanced from your
04:25homeland, your connections with Bharat remain as strong as ever.
04:31Ladies and Gentlemen, Our nation today is marching towards Big Street Bharat, a developed
04:38India, by the year 2047, when we will celebrate 100 years of our independence.
04:46This vision is not just a government initiative.
04:50It is a national mission that requires proactive and enthusiastic participation of every Indian,
04:57including those living abroad.
