00:00OK, now of course in Lebanon there's a huge sense of mistrust between the people and the

00:06political class, and I think it goes back some way now.

00:11Do you think this step that's been taken today, the filling of that vacancy after two years,

00:17goes some way towards restoring that trust?

00:20Yes, definitely.

00:21It's a step in the right direction.

00:23Let's be realistic.

00:24This is obviously not the end of the road.

00:27This is not, how can I say, a huge reform in itself or a huge step forward, but it's

00:34at least, let's say, that it sets the beginning of the way, it opens the possibility of rebuilding

00:43and reforming our country.

00:45And I think that this in itself is a very, very, very important milestone.

00:50So this is why it's positive.
