00:02This case is related to land confiscation.

00:05The petitioner was arrested in 1993.

00:11Rajesh Kumar Tiwari was not aware of this.

00:16He was an ordinary farmer, not a well-educated man.

00:20His land was confiscated, but he was not informed.

00:25He was never given notice of confiscation.

00:29He built a house on his land and continued farming.

00:34He lived on that land with his family.

00:37In February 2015, he was given a notice from the Housing Board.

04:20And the next date of the case was fixed for 8th January at 2.30 pm.

04:27And it was instructed that the collector should be present.

04:30And in relation to that, they were scolded that how do you run this?

04:38You work for the public.

04:42And if you work in this way, then any action can be taken against you.

04:46The next day, on 8th January, the case was again fixed at 2.30 pm.

04:52And the collector and his advocates were present.

04:56The case was heard.

04:58After hearing the case, the court decided that the advocate's body will be with him.

05:04And the award that was announced in relation to that was lapsed.

05:08The advocate will not be removed from that land.

05:11And he will remain in that.

05:13If the collector or the housing board wants to take over this land again,

05:18then according to the new law of 2013, the new announcement should be issued.

05:25And he should be compensated at the new market rate.

05:30The advocate's advocacy was accepted.

05:34The collector was given a lot of advice.

05:36And Rs. 25,000 caste bill was imposed on him.

05:39This is how the case was settled.

05:41After 30 years, the advocates got justice.

05:4430 years ago, his body was removed.

05:46And he has not been compensated till date.
