00:00But it all started with my uncle Karl who won Dakar six times behind the steering wheel

00:14of the racetrack Tatra.

00:16He is really famous and thanks to him many Czech pilots and European pilots start to

00:22race the Rally Dakar in the track category.

00:26He is here but we just don't see him in this dimension.

00:31This idea came immediately when he decided to take his new stage in Heavens.

00:38So we decided for his honour to build up two trucks.

00:49This truck on my left hand is a Tatra Puma, it's the most successful Dakar truck who won

00:54Rally Dakar three times.

00:57Only thing is different there is the steering wheel and the turbocharger.

01:02They are quite unique so they are in the original truck but we had all the parts so 95% is original

01:08one.

01:12It's called Puma because from one side it looks like the animal and it was really successful

01:19truck with Karl who at that time was beating the factory team Kamaz.

01:26This truck is original one who was running Rally Dakar, it's just rebuilt.

01:32It's 12-cylinder air-cooled engine, it's unique here, unique sound, something which is like

01:40Enzo Ferrari was telling you can never have something better than 12-cylinder engine and

01:45that we have.

01:47For this unique project in Dakar Classic, Alice Lopreis has gathered two crews to drive

01:51the trucks made famous by his uncle Karel.

01:53Igor Vazdera has got behind the wheel of the Puma with Giri Husek driving the Tatra 815.

01:59There are two new crews, they made first to enjoy, to taste the Dakar.

02:08Every day they are better and better and I hope I can help them to achieve what they

02:12wish.

02:14I have to say as I see the category that one day I would be happy to be part of it.

02:21I'm sure that Karel is watching it and is happy to see something like this.
