People of Glasgow share their view on the police

Recent research suggests trust in police has declined. We ask Glaswegians what they think.

00:00The only times I have ever needed anything, I was helped, put it that way, but I do know

00:07that people, some people don't have, and if I may say, especially with grooming gangs.

00:15This is shocking and I, it's not just today and it's not yesterday, it's gone on for many

00:20years, not just down south but here as well, I think it's everywhere.

00:26I'm looking for Spider-Man, I'm looking for a police man here, you never see him anywhere

00:30and when you try to get in contact with him by telephone, you can't even get the 191 service.

00:37So I just think they need to re-look at what they do.

00:41It's a funny relationship with the police, you know what I mean? People have a lot to

00:45say negative about the police but then they're the first people they call and they're in

00:47trouble and so and so.

00:49In my opinion, there should be more visible police.

00:53There definitely needs to be a better relationship, I would say, between the public and the police.

00:57There's definitely something no right there.
