Wigan Warriors prop Tyler Dupree is enjoying his first full pre-season with the club.

00:00Tyler here at Wigan Warriors pre-season media day. How's pre-season been for you so far?

00:05Yeah, it's been really good. It's been my first full pre-season with Wigan, so I'm really enjoying it.

00:10I'm taking each day as it comes and I'm taking it all in my stride, so I'm enjoying it.

00:15Hard work with a good group, I imagine?

00:18Yeah, definitely, and I think that's part of what makes pre-season a little bit easier, is the group you've got around you.

00:23We've had a pretty solid group from day one, really, so it's made it all a little bit easier.

00:28It's still been tough. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, but it's been good to get it done with the boys.

00:33We've all dug in for each other.

00:34And amongst that, we've had five academy lads promoted. How have they fitted into the group and how have they been at training?

00:41You wouldn't be able to tell the difference. They've hit the ground running, really.

00:45They started a little bit earlier than us and when we came in, they were flying already,

00:49so they're a credit to themselves and obviously they're a credit to the academy of what they've produced.

00:54They're the type of lads that are here to work hard and they wouldn't be in the first team if they wasn't.

00:59We were asked upstairs, but has anyone in particular impressed you so far in pre-season?

01:04Yeah, probably for myself and my position, I probably work a bit closer with Kieran.

01:09Kieran, he's fit, he's strong, he's doing all the right things.

01:14For me, I can't really say out of them all, he's impressed me the most, but he's the one that I've worked with more closely,

01:19so I'd say I'd give a big shout-out to Kieran.

01:22Do you think he'll be an exciting player for fans to watch, hopefully, if he's given this chance this year?

01:26Yeah, definitely, but I think he's under no illusion that there's plenty of competition.

01:31For us, who have been here a little bit longer, we all know there's competition for places now,

01:35so it just drives us to work harder in training each day.

01:38We're all trying to better each other, but also be better as well.
