Clarence Hill Jr. of All City DLLS joined the Fan After Dark to talk about the drama surrounding Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys, if McCarthy got a fair shake this season, the biggest needs for the team this offseason and more.

00:00When you hear that the Bears are interested in a Mike McCarthy, are you shocked by that

00:19taking him back and kind of how do you think the Cowboys will deal with someone else wanting

00:24to interview their coach?

00:25Yeah, I think that's that's it.

00:28You know, I don't know if he'll end up with Chicago, there's so many other names out there,

00:32you know, and everybody's just getting started and I mean, just to seem like they're interviewing

00:37about 20 people, you know, they've asked everybody and their dogs for permission to be interviewed

00:41and, and we'll see how that goes.

00:43Certainly, the Bears are looking at a number of different guys, but, you know, they need

00:48some stability, you know, and they need some stability for their quarterback, they got

00:51a young quarterback and, and Mike McCarthy certainly is someone who will give them that.

00:57I know Jerry Jones wants to take his time, so to speak, and, and go through the week

01:04and analyze the season because the hay's been in the barn, as he said, I don't know what's

01:08left to analyze, but and decide what direction you want to go with sort of Mike McCarthy

01:13got a contract, they got to negotiate with agents and everything else, if they certainly

01:17want to go forward, but certainly keenly expressing interest and I know the Bears did, and I'm

01:23pretty sure that the thing where Mike McCarthy actually had his first job as office coordinator

01:29will probably do it at some point, request to speak with McCarthy, I think that those

01:34things are messed up, Jerry Jones is giving a timeline and step in and take his time to

01:39go through this process.

01:40See, you know, they need to get some inclusion from McCarthy for the rest of the coaches,

01:45and we'll see how this plays out.
