00:00Was this the end of Aaron Rodgers as not just a Jet quarterback, but potentially a quarterback period in the NFL?

00:12Was this the end of the line?

00:14There certainly were some things in the game that made you think it might be.

00:18I know he really wanted to get a throw and touchdown to Devontae Adams for the last time.

00:23I mean, they tried time and time again, and they finally got him.

00:26Some lip reader caught him on camera saying, this is my last game, sure.

00:32He might have meant it as his last game as a Jet, for all we know.

00:36But here he is being talked.

00:38He was given, I guess, several hypothetical situations, and here's how he responded to all of them.

00:44Well, I've done it once.

00:45Obviously, there's a lot of hypotheticals here.

00:47So if I want to play, hypothetical number one.

00:51If they want to move on, hypothetical number two.

00:53Would I be willing to play for another team, hypothetical number three?

00:56The answer is yes.

01:01There you go.

01:02Sounds like a yes, Joe.

01:03Sounds like, I think he's not done.

01:06I don't think he's done.

01:07I think he's going to play for somebody else next year.

01:10Now, as we were kind of discussing this before, I don't know where, there might not be a fit.

01:17I don't know if there's a square peg, round hole situation that you could shove Aaron Rodgers into that isn't the Jets.

01:25But I guess it would also depend on who's running the Jets, because we obviously don't know that yet either.

01:33Well, and I think that's going to be probably the biggest determining factor, right?

01:38Who are the Jets hiring in the front office?

01:41Who's going to be the head coach?

01:43And will either of those hires move the needle for Aaron Rodgers, thinking that there's an opportunity here with the Jets?

01:52Because he is under contract.

01:53So it's not like he's a free agent now.

01:56I don't know if they'll make me an order.

01:58Like, he's under contract.

01:59So whether or not he wants to come back, I think has a lot to do with what and who the Jets hire from this point on.

02:07And the decision doesn't have to be made tomorrow, by the way, too, Carver.

02:10So he does have some sort of Hiawaska appointment in some sort of hot box in Arizona.

02:18I'm sure it'll all come to him in one of those meetings.

02:23He did say he had to take some time to go back to the bunker in California.

02:28Yes.

02:29And think things through and recover from a tough year.

02:32He did play every game.

02:34So I guess you should give him credit for that.

02:36He did play every game for the Jets this year.

02:39So hat tip to Aaron Rodgers.

02:42And I'll just say it again because now it's over.

02:45That was even more spectacular than I thought it was going to be, this Aaron Rodgers Jets season.

02:50I cannot believe how great it was or how spectacularly it exploded there for them as they're looking to once again start back from zero.
