00:20 or walked off the field, courted into the locker room

00:23 with what appears, Nicky, by reports after the football game

00:27 to be a torn Achilles tendon,

00:28 sidelining Aaron Rodgers for the remainder of 2023.

00:33 So Nicky, with all of those circumstances at play here,

00:36 what is your reaction to last night in MetLife

00:39 between the Bills and the Jets?

00:41 - I honestly was just, when I saw him go down,

00:45 I think my initial reaction was, this has to be bad

00:48 because you could kind of see in his eyes,

00:50 he knew something was wrong, which is why he sat down.

00:53 And being someone that's coached gymnastics

00:56 and cheerleading for a long time,

00:57 when I see an Achilles injury,

00:58 I said it immediately to my family.

01:00 I was like, I think that's an Achilles

01:01 'cause you kind of saw the back of his calf bulge out

01:05 and I've seen numerous Achilles injuries.

01:07 So I was like, I think that's Achilles.

01:08 And everyone was like, no, no, no, I think it's the ankle.

01:10 And then come to find out it's probably his Achilles.

01:12 So for that, it just sucks.

01:14 I feel really bad for him and I feel bad for the team,

01:16 especially with all the hype that's been around the Jets.

01:18 Like, you just can't believe this is happening.

01:21 But then for me, I was just honestly shocked

01:23 that the Jets didn't just wave the white flag.

01:27 They're such a good team.

01:29 They have amazing offensive weapons.

01:30 Their defense is no joke.

01:32 So if they did have Aaron Rodgers

01:34 for the rest of the season, it really is,

01:36 wow, this team could win the Super Bowl.

01:38 Now it's, okay, what do they do at quarterback?

01:39 Because clearly it didn't work with Zach Wilson.

01:42 Can it work with him this time?

01:45 But the takeaway for me is this team really is no joke.

01:48 And it's kind of like what could have been

01:50 if Aaron Rodgers didn't go down.
