Jesse Eisenberg caught up with Billboard's Tetris Kelly at the 2025 Golden Globes.

00:00So, Jesse, I mean, to not only be nominated as an actor, but also the screenplay is nominated.

00:04So how does it feel to walk the carpet and know that the film has been so well received?

00:08Oh, it feels very surprising to be here, frankly.

00:12Like it was a tiny movie, so it's really, you know, strange and pleasantly surprising

00:17to be here.

00:18Well, I mean, it's not your first time.

00:19You've had a really great career, I mean, all the way back to Social Network in 2010.

00:24How has your journey been?

00:25And what does it feel like to have made this journey?

00:27Oh, you're so kind to say that.

00:29Yeah, I've been writing plays for 20 years, so I always thought maybe I'd write a movie

00:34as well.

00:35So when I started, so it's really nice to be acknowledged as a writer as well now.

00:38And of course, we're here to represent music.

00:41So what music did you listen to to get ready tonight?

00:43Oh, that's interesting.

00:44So my entire soundtrack for my film is Chopin, Frederic Chopin, the classical composer.

00:49I'm probably the only person who gave you that answer tonight for many reasons.

00:53And so and that's what I was listening to when I was writing the script.

00:56And that's what the entire score is based on.

01:00And honestly, this question just came to me and I want to ask you, how do you feel about

01:02social media right now in 2025 and how it's grown since you were in that film so long

01:07ago?

01:08Oh, you know, I'm like not on social media because I'm like, I get enough.

01:11What's the word?

01:12I get enough attention.

01:13Stimulation.

01:14Yeah, I get enough personal attention without that, you know, because people know who I

01:18am and stuff.

01:19So, yeah, I'm not on anything like that.

01:21But if I was not a movie actor, I probably would be.

01:23Cool.
