00:00Here is the PTB news for today.

00:05A total of 27 volcanic earthquakes have been recorded in Canlaon Volcano in the past 24 hours.

00:13The agency also recorded more than 5,800 tons per day of sulfur dioxide emissions.

00:19According to PBOX, its plume or steaming is at 750 meters

00:23and there is still no sign of eruption in the volcano.

00:27Based on PBOX data, the volcano is still steaming.

00:31At the moment, the volcano is still at alert level 3.

00:35This was first stated by PBOX Director Teresito Bacolcol

00:37that they are not removing the possibility of raising it to alert level 4.

00:44In other news, six individuals were arrested in the operation of the National Bureau of Investigation

00:50due to the sale of positions to the government.

00:53According to NBI Director Jaime Santiago,

00:56the Special Task Force and Cybercrime Division received a complaint

01:00that someone is allocating a position to the Bangsamoro Parliament worth P8 million.

01:05The subject of the operation complained that he agreed to P15 million for two positions.

01:12He also said that the First Lady herself is arranging for this

01:16and that on January 3, she will be handing over the position.

01:20In the so-called entrapment operation in Manila,

01:22the suspects were arrested after receiving the marked money.

01:26The Office of the President confirmed that the suspects are not employed or connected to the palace.
