00:19and opportunity, child development, and healthcare access. French-Gates will also be leaving it up

00:24to individuals and organizations on how best to use their funds in 2025. She resigned from

00:29the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in May, and then put out an open call for non-profits related

00:34to the betterment of women and girls to apply for grants from her pivotal organization,

00:39pledging $1 billion over the next two years. With French-Gates and Scott wielding so much

00:44influence and giving away so much money in such a short amount of time,

00:48their efforts are changing how others give as well.
