00:35that is another international health concern?

00:38What is this and is there a truth to this spreading?

00:43Yes, sir. We monitored last night and we always say

00:48Diumanoy is an international health concern

00:51that there is a new spreading of a disease in a country.

00:58We do not name the country and the disease because it is not verified.

01:03The DOH asked our WHO official channels,

01:08the International Health Regulations,

01:11and we also monitored if there is a declaration,

01:14the country said there is none.

01:17It is not true. If something happens, we will know immediately

01:22and we will update.

01:26Asic Albert, what is the DOH doing now

01:31to verify these spreading issues?

01:36Yes, Asic Arnel, we have what we call IHR,

01:40Focal Point, or International Health Regulations.

01:46who talks to his counterparts in other countries.

01:50This is also in our WHO, World Health Organization, Regional Office.

01:59is here in Metro Manila, but it is an international agency.

02:07all our airports, all our surveillance systems are running.
