00:18It is possible that the number of passengers in all ports today has increased to 600,000.

00:24According to Philippine Ports Authority General Manager Jason Tiago,

00:27the PPA explains that passengers are expected to expect a decrease, especially after the holiday season.

00:33The PPA again called on passengers to book earlier for their trip,

00:38so that they can avoid trouble.

00:40More than 3,000 security personnel are now ready to monitor the security of all ports in the country.

00:47The Philippine Ports Authority first called on shipping companies to implement the online ticketing system

00:54to reduce congestion or crowd of passengers in the ports.

01:00The Land Transportation Office also strictened the management of traffic and road safety rules.

01:05Passengers are expected to return to their respective provinces after the holiday.

01:09LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II has given the regional offices of the Directiva,

01:16like the visibility of LTO personnel in the ports,

01:20to ensure the safety of passengers.

01:22At the same time, the Land Transportation Office will also look at the checkpoints against trucks that overload.
