00:00The Philippine Ports Authority will be forced to guard the ports in the face of the expected influx of passengers.

00:21It is possible that the number of passengers in all the ports today has increased to 600,000.

00:26According to Philippine Ports Authority General Manager Jason Tiago,

00:30the PPA explains that it is expected that the number of passengers will increase, especially after the holiday season.

00:36The PPA again called on passengers to book earlier for their trip.

00:41This is to avoid trouble.

00:43More than 3,000 security personnel are ready to guard the security of all the ports in the country.

00:50The Philippine Ports Authority first called on shipping companies to implement the online ticketing system

00:57to reduce congestion or crowd of passengers in the ports.

01:02The Land Transportation Office also tightened the traffic and road safety rules.

01:07Passengers will return from their respective provinces after the holiday.

01:12LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II gave the regional offices of the Directiva,

01:18like the visibility of LTO personnel in the ports, to ensure the safety of passengers.

01:25At the same time, the Land Transportation Office will also tighten the checkpoints against trucks that overload.
