00:00The Department of Finance, or DOF, lauded the Land Bank of the Philippines and the Development

00:05Bank of the Philippines, or DBP, for maintaining strong financial position which allowed them

00:11to provide more services to Filipinos.

00:14For his part, the President and Chief Executive Officer of DBP, Michael de Jesus, says the

00:20State Bank remains financially strong and is more than capable of meeting the demands

00:25of the Marcos administration's economic agenda for Filipinos.

00:29While the Finance Department is now eyeing Congressional approval of the charters of

00:33the two state banks to further improve the financial standing of both revenue-generating

00:39entities.
