00:00Good evening Sadler's fans. Walsall have maintained their 12-point lead at the League 2 Summit

00:09after they mounted a comeback against fellow promotion rivals Notts County at Meadow Lane

00:16to extend their winning streak to seven games in League 2 and 14 now unbeaten in the league.

00:27Notts County came into this in second place and trailing Walsall by 12 points and it was

00:35a gripping contest. Matt Sadler made two changes from the 2-0 success over Newport County in

00:42the final game of 2024. Evan Weir came in for only his second league start for the club

00:50and his first start since the 1-0 defeat against MK Dons earlier in the season. He replaced Taylor

00:58Allen who ended a run of 38 consecutive league starts for Walsall and elsewhere Albert Adoma

01:07led the line as Jimmy and Matt dropped to the bench and Notts County dominated the first half

02:11for Charlie Lakin in midfield and Jamil Matt replaced Albert Adoma and Walsall then had a

02:19presence and a focal point up front with Jamil Matt. Osher McKenzie was an absolute engine with

02:26his work in the press a really good performance from him and Walsall started the second half

02:33strongly and eventually equalised in the 65th minute. Jamil Matt stooping low to meet Weir's

02:42volley across the face of goal and Nathan Lowe with his 17th of the season in the 82nd minute

02:50as Weir capped his second league start of the season with a pair of assists. David
