00:00Some families decided to celebrate Luneta Park's new year in Manila.

00:06The fireworks display that took place in the park became colorful.

00:16From Los Banos, Laguna, Janet's family went to Luneta Park to celebrate the new year.

00:23It's different because usually we're just at home every new year.

00:29We also watch on TV that there are people going here.

00:32Anne Kasam, her partner, went back to her hometown for the new year.

00:37I'm an old man now, settled down, looking at the fireworks in Luneta Park.

00:42The authorities are spread out around Luneta and the guards are inspecting the entrances to the park.

00:48The surroundings around Luneta became peaceful as people are waiting to welcome the new year.

01:06The fireworks display that took place in Manila Clock Tower in Manila City Hall became colorful.

01:13This became the center of Luneta's New Year countdown.

01:16Along with the new year, this is also the first time that the Manila Clock Tower was lit.

01:22That's why it was invited not only by the people of Manila, but also by people from Karatik province.

01:29Manila City Mayor Hani Lacuna and Vice Mayor Niel Servo were also present in the program.
