00:00So, we talked about the weight loss, what was the journey to get there because mine

00:06was a trip to Houston.

00:07What's that mean?

00:08A trip to Houston?

00:09I had surgery.

00:10I didn't have time to lose weight.

00:14I tried, I ran, I ate well, I stopped drinking, I did everything and it just wasn't working

00:24for me.

00:25So, I took a trip and then I came back 22 and a half pounds lighter and every week after

00:29that I kept losing weight but then I had to change, of course, my lifestyle.

00:32What was your process?

00:33Oh man, this is five years.

00:35When I started therapy, that's when I really started taking my health seriously.

00:41It was blood tests, checking your hormones, it was food tests to see what you're allergic

00:48to, what foods make you bloat, what foods hurt your stomach, it was changing my relationship

00:54with food because I used to feel like, oh, eating less means you lose weight when it

00:57was actually eating more means you lose weight which was a mindfuck in itself because we're

01:03taught the opposite.

01:04It was not paying attention to the scale and just being consistent and showing up at the

01:09gym and cooking instead of going out to eat.

01:12It literally was just, I mean, there is no secret way to being healthy and if you want

01:18to lose weight, there's no secret way.

01:20It's literally just discipline and consistency or surgery.

01:24You talked about your body.

01:25You said to people online, falling in my DMs because I've lost weight and you said keep

01:29that same fat phobic energy because ain't nothing changed with the scale.

01:34Who was in your DMs?

01:35Did Drake slide?

01:36No.

01:37Because you know, Drake likes them big.

01:38No, you know what?

01:39It's not even famous people.

01:40It's like guys that I've known for a long time or guys that I've worked with.

01:44The DMs went from, hey sis, to being a little bit more flirty and it was weird to me.

01:49I've known you for a long time and just because I may look a little bit different, you don't

01:55get to hit on me now.

01:56That's weird, bro.

01:58Because you liked me when I was fat, but because I was fat, you didn't want to hit on me.
