00:06A rare win here for Newcastle, only their second in the league since 1972.

00:12Their second of the Premier League era and it was one that was absolutely fully deserved.

00:17For that opening half an hour, Manchester United were on the ropes.

00:21Newcastle 2 in luck within 20 minutes, Alexander Isaac and Joe Linton and it could have been a lot more.

00:27That was probably the only disappointment at half-time as Newcastle didn't have a stronger or greater advantage.

00:34But it felt like it could have come back to cost them a little bit because what happened in the 30th minute,

00:42Ruben Amerin brought off Joshua Xherxey and Kobe Mane who came onto the midfield and that stifled Newcastle a little bit.

00:49Then they had that chance at the end of the first half when Fabian Chairs gave the ball away,

00:53a great opportunity for Casemiro, wide and then they've had a chance when Harry Maguire has hit the post.

00:59But really apart from that, albeit there was a little bit of pressure from Manchester United,

01:04moments they could have got back in the game. So I think 2-1 might have been a little bit nervy.

01:08But Newcastle managed to avoid that situation and I thought managed the game really, really well.

01:19That opening half and how he bossed that midfield at the heart of everything, played a key role in both goals.

01:24And then that second half just really came alive. Just a clever footballer, winning fouls,

01:29taking the ball in tight scenarios and leaving pressure off his teammates.

01:32I thought he was a 9 out of 10 I'd give him, maybe give him a 10 out of 10.

01:37But yeah, excellent footballer and a real 10.
