00:00The Agriculture Department is studying the declaration of food security emergency next year to lower the price of rice.
00:08This is just one of the proposed solutions of the DA at a high price.
00:12In the first week of January, the DA and Bureau of Plant Industry officials were able to help to improve the rice situation of the country.
00:20Under the Rice Tarification Law, the DA has the power to declare a food security emergency
00:26to release the rice to the National Food Authority to help to stabilize the price of rice.
00:32First, the DA announced that they plan to remove the labels of imported rice because it is used to increase the price.
00:41The DA also reminded that the purpose of importing rice is to lower the price of rice in the market.
