00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines, AFP,

00:03announced that the operation against the members of the Communist Terrorist Group is still ongoing.

00:09This is a continuation of the weakening of their forces

00:12where only one weekend guerrilla front is left from the previous seven in the beginning of 2024.

00:20This is also in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:24to end the problem of insurgency until the end of the year.

00:29The AFP's alert level is still high compared to the 56th anniversary of the CPP-NPA today.

00:39So we have more and more provinces who have been declaring that they are insurgency-free

00:43but of course, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, we will not let our guards down.

00:47So we are still there, we will not leave it

00:50so that we can attain what we call just and lasting peace.

00:54And we can also transition this to law enforcement.
