00:00Authorities have set up a special investigation task for the chosen and investigated attack on a provincial election supervisor in Sulu

00:45The Philippine National Police or PNP recognized the shooting of Sulu Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Julie Vidspar.

00:52According to the PNP Public Information Office Chief, Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo,

00:57the PNP has set up a special investigation task group or SITG to investigate the shooting that took place

01:06where the brother of the election official was shot in the head by a gunman riding in tandem this Saturday.

01:14As of now, we cannot say if this is a gun for hire group or a professional.

01:19What is clear here is there is really an attempt to harm the victim.

01:25Because of the SITG, the police are hoping that the crime will be resolved as soon as possible.

01:32As of now, the PNP says that the investigation is a big challenge because of the lack of witnesses.

01:39And as of now, the CCTV is still looking for witnesses.

01:55And of course, our CCTVs are privately owned.

02:01So we need permission from the CCTV owners to open it.

02:09Meanwhile, the target of the suspects is the brother who used to be the barangay captain or the election supervisor.

02:18The motive behind the crime is still being investigated.

02:21But the motive behind the crime has something to do with his job.
