00:09The Bureau of Immigration is warning its frontline officers

00:13during the holiday season.

00:15According to the B.I. Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado,

00:17they can greet the passengers as Christmas is coming,

00:21but it is strictly prohibited to receive gifts

00:25or gifts from immigration counters.

00:27Additionally, Commissioner Viado,

00:29more than 110,000 passengers are expected to travel every day

00:33as Christmas is coming.

00:35The B.I. is adding more people to the borders

00:39to speed up the process of going out and entering the country.

00:43Meanwhile, the B.I. is instructing the passengers

00:46to use electronic gates

00:48to reduce the long lines in the borders.

00:54the Romina typhoon is about to hit the country
