00:03Hey, Scott, let's talk some college football.

00:06Going to begin with the Heisman Trophy.

00:08Obviously, the big news, Travis Hunter, two-way star,

00:11this year's Heisman winner.

00:13Love the choice, love Ashton Gente at number two.

00:17That was a closer vote than I thought.

00:19Here are my takeaways.

00:20First off, this is the biggest win for Coach Prime.

00:25I think it's a proof of concept

00:27that you could not only get coached by Deion Sanders

00:31and really lock into some of that NIL money,

00:34get a lot more exposure,

00:36but you could also win a Heisman Trophy.

00:38I mean, I think this is hugely effective down the road

00:42in terms of boosting his recruiting at Colorado

00:45or wherever he winds up.

00:47Other thought, look at that top 10, Scott.

00:49I was fascinated by the top 10 vote-getters.

00:52What we're seeing now from Heisman vote-getters

00:54is it doesn't matter where you begin

00:56or where you play,

00:58if you get it done on the field, you're going to get votes.

01:01And we saw that, we had a true tight end in the top 10

01:04in Tyler Warren of Penn State.

01:07We saw kids who began their careers at Sacramento State,

01:10Incarnate Word, Jackson State.

01:13They played at places like Ohio in the MAC.

01:16So this was a very diverse group of candidates.

01:19Love to see that.

01:21Quickly looking ahead to next year,

01:22we'll have a lot of time in the off season to talk Heisman,

01:25but watch the young kids next year.

01:27Receivers like Jeremiah Smith at Ohio State,

01:30Ryan Williams at Alabama,

01:32quarterbacks like Arch Manning at Texas,

01:34DJ Lagway at Florida.

01:36Never too early to talk Heisman Trophy.

01:39We'll be doing that before you know it.

01:40Now, we've got playoffs and I couldn't be more excited.

01:43Friday night, ND, Indiana, Saturday, three guys.

01:47It's going to be spectacular for college football fans.

01:50Here are my general thoughts from a betters perspective, Scott.

01:54First off, look at the sites of these games.

01:57Three of these games in the Midwest,

01:59Indiana, Penn State, Ohio State.

02:01Weather could be a factor.

02:03I like the unders in these games.

02:06I do not expect to see upsets.

02:08The under I like the most right off the bat.

02:11Friday night, Indiana at Notre Dame.

02:13ND's got a great defense, great defensive line play.

02:17What we saw out of your Hoosiers this year

02:19is that when they faced really good defenses,

02:22namely Michigan and Ohio State,

02:24that offense grinded to a halt.

02:26Those two games, just 35 points combined.

02:29I think this game is played in the teens for the Hoosiers.

02:33I expect ND to win something like 26-17, 27-17.

02:37Love the under.

02:39And then the other pick for this weekend,

02:41I like Tennessee getting seven and a half.

02:42I've already locked in.

02:44Tennessee looks to me like a more polished version

02:47of Michigan, north-south running game,

02:50really good defensive line.

02:52That Ohio State offensive line, reshuffled,

02:54could have problems with Tennessee.

02:56Low scoring, close.

02:58I think Ohio State survives,

03:00but Tennessee's gonna be really tough on Saturday.
