00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will lead the celebration of the 89th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines later this afternoon.

00:25President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will lead the celebration of the 89th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines later this afternoon.

00:34At 3 p.m. later this afternoon, the Chief Executive of Camp Aguinaldo is expected to share the activities of the President,

00:43in Heroes Memorial with AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo Browner Jr.

00:49and in celebration of the 89th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines,

00:54the AFP said that within almost a decade,

00:58it has become a firm pillar of the Adhikain ng Karangalan, Serbisyo, and Pankamakabayan

01:04that serves as a strong balance of peace and security in our country.

01:08In a Facebook post, the AFP reiterated their commitment to a safe, stable, and united country.

01:18They will remain vigilant and always ready to respond to the call of their duty.

01:24This is in line with President Marcos' message, especially in times like these, that we must be vigilant.

01:31These times call for vigilance and for resolve.

01:34There is no room for complacency, for any pause in our efforts.
