The Chinese autonomous trucking company TuSimple has rebranded as CreateAI, pivoting to focus on video games and animation, the company announced on Thursday. This transformation comes after several setbacks, including safety concerns, a securities fraud settlement, and a February delisting from Nasdaq. CEO Cheng Lu aims for the business to break even by 2026, buoyed by a new video game based on martial arts novels. CreateAI's first major AI model, Ruyi, is now available for visual work via the Hugging Face platform.
