Students celebrate end of HSC as 2024 ATAR results released in NSW

Nearly 70,000 students were awarded their HSC today, with nearly a quarter scoring 90 or more in at least one subject. Private schools, girls and city students dominated the top marks.

than 19,000 students recognised as Distinguished Achievers.

The median ATAR this year was 71.55, but for around 20% of students, their final score
