00:00So, uh, as far as, uh, Sam in the future, because McCarthy's had two knee surgeries

00:10and is there a plan to just go to him because I'm hearing, Oh, Sam Darnold's going to have

00:1515 job offers.

00:17What is the Vikings plan for the future?

00:21I know they're worried about right now, sitting where they are in the position they're in

00:25the postseason is right around the corner doing pushups, but let's face facts.

00:29Uh, there's people talking about him playing back here in New York.

00:35Well, if it was a gun to the head situation for the GM or the head coach right now, I

00:41would imagine they probably have a great feeling as to exactly what they want to do moving

00:47in the off season.

00:48You know, they, they've done a really good job with reclamation projects.

00:51Scott, uh, Sam would be that we got this defensive lineman, former first round pick, uh, I believe

00:56by the chargers named Jerry Tillery.

00:59We considered him a bust.

01:00He's having the best season of his career.

01:02We Jonathan Bernard, Blake Cashman, Andrew Van Ginkle, they're Byron Murphy, Jr.

01:07They're all having the best seasons of their career at bank ankles, V bomb.

01:15So with that said, uh, you know, Sam, um, I don't know what they're going to do.

01:22And working with the team yet doing a radio show, it obviously has some tricky balance

01:27to it.

01:28But over the years, I've just learned when to push and when not to push.

01:33And that's not a question I'm going to ask on the inside right now, when the season's

01:38over, I'm quite positive.

01:39I'll have the answer.

01:40Uh, if I were to use discernment, um, putting a franchise tag on him at $38 million and

01:46moving from there seems, seems to be the right business way to do it.

01:52Um, you know, because if he's really going to get 35 a year and some cousins ask a hundred

01:56million promised, I just don't see it happening here because we have another reclamation project.

02:03You're based in the NYC, uh, Daniel Jones and, you know, darn old, like Jones, a former

02:08first round pick those Daniel.

02:11Now that I've gotten to know him a little bit and watch him on the practice squad and

02:18And he made a lot of mistakes.

02:20But I just think he needed to chill and just get away from that situation for a little

02:25while.

02:26Take, take a deep breath and then work with these hot Kevin O'Connell probably is going

02:31to be coach of the year.

02:32He's favored and he's gone favored the last three weeks.

02:35So you know how that works.

02:36Those are a lot of dimes rolling in on my Steelers and giving, giving your coach an

02:42award that the Steelers coach is going to get signed.
