00:00Atlanta is in a really, really difficult position because Atlanta has Michael Pennix set and

00:16it's all their own fault.

00:18I guess the one thing that you could say is like, oh, they didn't know Kirk would fall

00:25But you just didn't have to sign Kirk if you're going to draft the quarterback like they did

00:28with Pennix.

00:31Do the Atlanta Falcons, because I don't think they'll be in the playoffs, do they say, okay,

00:36you know what, Raheem and Kirk Cousins, Raheem Morris being their head coach, you get a second

00:42season and we'll see if it works.

00:47Or this off season, do they say, wow, okay, this was a nightmare, uh, Kirk, we're going

00:55to trade you.

00:56We're going to eat the money.

00:57And if they say yes to that, do they go, you know what, Raheem, we've got to be honest

01:01with ourselves.

01:03This isn't going to work.

01:05Or does Raheem Morris get the opportunity to coach with Michael Pennix as his quarterback

01:09for a year?

01:12That's where they are.

01:14The tough bit with option a of, hey, Raheem and Kirk, you get a second season is outside

01:24of a super bowl run.

01:28That'll be the end of Kirk's time at Atlanta.

01:33At that point, they're going to want to get Pennix the ball.

01:36And at that point, they'll be able to move off of Kirk's money a little bit easier.

01:43So you kind of go into next year, like, well, listen, this is the last year of Kirk anyway.

01:50If we're not going to compete with Kirk, then we can give Pennix his chance.

01:54Like I said, I don't mind when you allow a player to wait, but are you throwing things

02:07off if everybody feels and knows Kirk's washed?

02:11Also, what could you get for Kirk Cousins?
