00:00No Indian wants to know anything more about Krishan. We already know Krishan.

00:05Every single person knows five or ten stories about Krishan and that is all. Why do you need to read the Gita?

00:12Why do you need to understand Vedanta?

00:14We know those five stories. One, how he was stealing butter. Two, how he was dancing with the Gopis.

00:19Third, the mountain on the little finger. Fourth, the great snake in the Jamuna River.

00:25Done. Then Sudama. Five stories you know and you are fully confident you know Krishan.

00:30And beyond that nobody needs to know anything.

00:32All my life I have been inviting people to the Gita, teaching Gita, speaking for hours on every single shloka of the Gita.

00:42And not too many people have been interested. Why?

00:44We know the story, Makhan Chor. What else is there to know?

00:48Advaita Vedanta, it is greatly respected abroad. Bhagavad Gita, it is understood and read abroad.

00:55You have university courses on the Gita. Hardly in India.
