Kolej Ketengah curriculum must be continuously enhanced to align with industry needs, says Zahid

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has urged that the curriculum at Kolej Ketengah be consistently reviewed and upgraded to align with the requirements of the industrial sector.  Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the Rural and Regional Development Minister, expressed his hope that the standard of teaching and learning at the college would be elevated in accordance with current demands. 00:00I would like to extend my congratulations to the 265 graduates of the Early Childhood Education Diploma.

00:08On the occasion of the completion of your studies, you have overcome many challenges as students at Central College.

00:22You have all played an important role in building a new generation of scholars.

00:28I hope that your educational and learning goals will continue to be high.

00:34In fact, they will be improved as time goes by.

00:41At the same time, I urge that the curriculum used should always be revised and improved

00:51so that it meets the needs of industry and economy.

00:55I also appreciate the efforts of Central College, which offers the PLKK program,

01:04as well as Technical and Vocational Education, or TVET.

01:08The Government is committed to strengthen TVET to meet the needs of the industry and technology that continues to develop.

01:18My advice is to never stop seeking knowledge.

01:25It doesn't matter if you want to continue your studies or step into the field of work.

01:33Always follow the development of the industry.

01:37Take the opportunity to continue to improve your skills and knowledge.

01:44The world today is full of challenges, but with continuous adaptation and effort,

01:51God willing, everything can be overcome.
