People on the street: The best on 2024

We went out into Manchester to ask people for their personal highlights of 2024 and why.

00:00Hi I'm Theo and welcome to People on the Street. Today I'm out in Manchester asking people

00:04about their favourite moments of 2024. It's been a long year and it's been filled with some joy

00:09and some misery but we want to look on the bright side. We want people to tell us what their best

00:13memories of this year will be, something that'll stick with them forever. I think it was when I

00:18went to Edale in the Peak District or is it Peak District right? Yeah I went there with my friends

00:24which is only for three days but it was like the perfect amount of time. I went to Japan in 2024

00:30and it's a lifetime dream for me and my wife and it was brilliant

00:34and a completely different world from Manchester. Seeing DBE.

00:41We weren't even meant to be going the day before and then we were like do it. It was my first day

00:44at my new job yeah and then got home at like 3am. I'd say I went to Turkey with my parents

00:52and we went up this mountain and you get a view of the marina and stuff

00:57and that was probably the coolest moment I'd say.
